What is love? Our culture often defines love by our feelings or by affirming what someone else wants. But Jesus gives us a different picture: love is giving yourself for the good of another. In John 13:34–38, Jesus tells his disciples to love one another the way he has loved them, a love that ultimately leads him to the cross. In this message, we explore why love requires both sacrifice and truth, why God gets to define what is genuinely good for us, and how the love we've received from Jesus changes the way we love others. Because Jesus first loved us, we're called to love like we've been loved by him.
