Everything we build our lives around can be shaken—our careers, finances, relationships, and even our health. So is it possible to have peace when everything around us feels uncertain?
In Hebrews 12:12–29, we discover that unshakable peace comes from belonging to an unshakable kingdom. Through the contrast between Mount Sinai and Mount Zion, we see that we cannot approach a holy God on our own terms, but through Jesus, we can be forgiven and welcomed into his presence forever. Because Jesus endured God's judgment for us, we can live with confidence, endure suffering, and build our lives around what will last for eternity.
