Today, we began a new teaching series by studying John 8:1–12 to learn how Jesus responds to our shame. In this story, the religious leaders try to use a broken woman to trap Jesus. But instead of condemning her, He exposes their hypocrisy and offers her forgiveness. The truth we see is that shame does not have to define us—Jesus covers what we cannot cover ourselves.
