We saw that hurt can harden us, or point us toward the healing we really need, and that our soul-level hungers—love, acceptance, safety—cannot be filled by anything in this world. Jesus meets us in our brokenness, offering Himself as the Living Water and the Bread of Life to satisfy our deepest hunger.
