Is your relationship with Jesus centered on worship... or consumerism?
In the first message of our Consumer Christianity series, we explore Romans 12:1–2 and one of the most challenging questions every Christian must answer: Have I been treating Jesus as a means to improve my life, or as the Lord who deserves my whole life? The Apostle Paul reminds us that in view of God's incredible mercies, the only reasonable response is to offer ourselves as living sacrifices in wholehearted worship.
The good news is that Jesus climbed onto the altar first. He gave His life so that we could receive mercy, be transformed by the gospel, and discover that true surrender doesn't lead to less life—it leads to the life we were created for.
If you're wrestling with control, wondering what it really means to follow Jesus, or looking for a faith that's deeper than simply attending church, this message is for you.
Thanks for watching! If this message encouraged or challenged you, we'd love for you to subscribe, share it with a friend, and let us know in the comments: What does wholehearted surrender to Jesus look like in your life right now?
