Today, we studied Proverbs 3:1–12 and 22:15 to learn that discipline is not about controlling behavior, but forming the heart. We saw why God disciplines those He loves: to lead us away from folly and toward wisdom. As parents, we are called to reflect that same kind of intentional, loving formation in our children. Ultimately, the gospel shows us that Jesus took our punishment so we could receive God’s life-giving discipline as His children. We hope this message encourages and challenges you. Thanks for listening!
